Passage through Minkmaatstraat 15,
city of Enschede
Photography by Holger Niehaus
For my graduation show I occupied an abandoned house in the centre of town. I constructed a passage cutting through the building, providing a short-cut for passers-by.
The outside walls were cut in order to create an entrance to the new walkway, which was accessible 24 hours a day.
The building was also my house during the construction period of 4 months. The passage was open for public during two weeks and at night I was sleeping at the other side of the wooden wall.
